The AZORES MTB WORLD SERIES MARATHON takes place on October 2nd 2016, being preceded on September 30th by a prologue, optional for all participants.
A highly important event for the Azores for it integrates the World Cup of Marathons and also Cyclin Cup Portugal Marathons. The potential for tourism promotion in the region, is integrated in Cycl'in Azores program.
The Azores MTB Marathon has its start and arrival in the center of the largest city of the archipelago - Ponta Delgada - and takes participants to go over some of the most beautiful landscapes and trails in the world, one of them officially considered one of the seven wonders of Portugal - Seven Cities.
It is an event opened to the participation of any athlete, whether federated or not.
