In 2000, Duna Marathon was the first real mountain bike marathon in Hungary.
13 years ago the race started from Buda Castle and the finish line was in Visegrád.
For 7 years now, the start-finish line is in Visegrád, at the bank of river Danube. The competitors now race on a 32km or 68km or 92km long circuit.
The race had almost 25.000 participants, from 12 countries in the past decade.
