Roc d’Ardenne - Houffalize

Roc d’Ardenne is being held for the first time and promises to become one of the biggest mountainbike festivals in Belgium. Roc d’Ardenne is part of the ROC series of mountainbike events. The main event behind it all, Roc d’Azur, the Mecca of the mountainbike enthusiast, was held for the 30th time this year. With its 20,000 participants and over 25 nationalities, it is without a doubt the largest mountainbike festival in the world.

Riding options:

• Roc Marathon: A 81,2 km timed marathon (1 circuit) for mountainbikers who have plenty training rides in their legs and who are looking for something challenging. The Roc Marathon is open for licence holders ( UCU Mountainbike series) as well as for non-licence holders.
• Roc d'Ardenne (½ marathon): A timed half marathon of 51,2 km with plenty of climbs and descents, but not so far in terms of distance.
• Rando Roc Noire: A touring ride of 35 km. Ideal for going at your own pace with friends or family and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
• Rando Roc Rouge: An even more gentle touring ride of 23,3 km. Ideal for going at your own pace with friends or family and enjoying the surroundings while not having to ride too far.
• Roc Enduro: A tasty ride in which a number of descents are timed.
• Kid Roc: We also have a number of circuits for the youngest riders, relative to their age ( age 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 & 13/14).
• Roc Ruelles: A fun and relaxed competition in the centre of Houffalize. A redemption competition for 2 featuring a short circuit with all the necessary technical requirements, narrow little streets and tight curve. The aim is to complete as many circuits as possible within a set time. The fastest pairs go through to the final.
• Cross Country: These are the races that will be organized: Master 1, Master 2, WE (Women Elite), WU 23 (Women under 23), ME (Men Elite), U23 (Men under 23), Fun A, Fun B, Debutants et Women Juniors, Juniors.
